Out Leadership’s winter Member Council Meeting is coming up on Thursday, February 9! In collaboration with LinkedIn, the event will take place at their NYC office in the Empire State Building, and will feature a special guest speaker, Kenji Yoshino, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law, NYU School of Law.

We’ll even have signed copies of Kenji Yoshino’s new book, Say The Right Thing: How to Talk about Identity, Diversity and Justice!

 

 

P&G CODED Screening

Procter & Gamble Australia, Sydney WorldPride and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras are hosting a private screening of the new documentary short “CODED: The Hidden Love of  J.C. Leyendecker,” a fascinating and poignant story of the famed advertising giant and the secret language he employed to speak directly to the LGBTQ+ community through years of work. For someone who changed the world of advertising for LGBTQ+ individuals, there is no better host for the film screening than P&G! The screening will even feature a panel discussion on the impact and importance of LGBTQIA+ visibility in art, media, and advertising.

KPMG Pride Summit 2023

Building on the theme of WorldPride — Gather Dream Amplify, Pride@KPMG Summit will bring members of Pride@KPMG from across Australia together to connect, celebrate, and design the future of LGBTQ+ inclusion. The two days will see opportunity for people to join with colleagues within KPMG, clients, and community to enable rich and deep conversations that inspire us to push beyond inclusion into equity and belonging. Sessions include professional development, strategy workshops, guest speakers (including our own Todd Sears!) and a client pride network workshop!

 

 

Human Rights Conference

Join us on a three-day exploration of LGBTQIA+ human rights, as we journey from where we are now to our vision for the future. The Conference will be immersive and fast-paced, taking place in multiple spaces across three levels of Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC).

The program will combine inspiring keynotes, panels and roundtables with interactive workshops, performances and facilitated networking events. This will be the largest convergence of human rights defenders, community members, government and political representatives, philanthropists and corporate leaders committed to LGBTQIA+ rights ever held in Asia Pacific.

Todd Sears will be a keynote speaker on the 3rd day of the conference!
