Twitter will hire Jeffrey Siminoff, the former head of diversity and inclusion at Apple, to be the company’s Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion.
Siminoff has long been an advocate for LGBT people in the workplace, and was a founding member of Out Leadership’s first Leadership Committee in 2011, when he was with Morgan Stanley.
Out Leadership Founder & Principal Todd Sears, the founder of Out on the Street, sent a congratulatory tweet to Siminoff. “Amazing News! Congrats @TwitterOpen on landing amazing #OutLeader @jsmSanFran to drive #lgbtprogress & #Diversity.”
