This Fall, Out Leadership will present what many consider to be our most groundbreaking research of the year; Out To Succeed.
This comprehensive survey of three thousand Gen-Z, LGBTQ+ professionals under 35 years old, is the only survey of its kind in the world.
For several years we’ve been exploring how young LGBTQ+ professionals perceive their employers, what they expect from corporate culture, and what motivates them to stay, thrive, and lead.
This year’s study in partnership with Out For Undergrad and sponsored by PwC will build on past research and further examine the intersectional focus on race, gender, geography and ability.
Young LGBTQ+ professionals say they want to work for companies that publicly and consistently support inclusion, not just internally, but publicly. They want to see out LGBTQ+ leaders in senior roles—and if they don’t they may quit and go elsewhere. And not surprisingly, being able to bring one’s authentic self to work is a top factor in career satisfaction.
Out to Succeed equips companies with data to build inclusive workplaces that attract and retain LGBTQ+ talent, and it helps them better-understand the intersection of identity, leadership, and purpose in the modern workforce,
“LGBTQ+ leaders don’t want to just belong—they want to build. They’re not just coming out. They’re coming up.” – Out to Succeed 2.0
