Introducing the newest NEXUS & Out Leadership White Paper: “The LGBTQ+ Employee Lifecycle: What’s Missing?”

This paper is intended to assist LGBTQ+ ERG and DEI leads to have strategic conversations internally with HR teams, executive sponsors and business leaders to identify more opportunities to achieve better outcomes for the LGBTQ+ workforce. It’s designed as a followup to the NEXUS LGBTQ+ breakfast event on this topic which was held as part of the 2024 Out Leadership Europe Summit. 

This paper delves into the employee lifecycle stages where LGBTQ+ considerations may currently be getting less focus within organisational diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategies. From highlighting LGBTQ+ DEI best practices and progress, identifying where further LGBTQ+ data and insights are needed, looking at lessons from other diversity strands, to considering the potential impact of AI, the paper calls out gaps in activity and areas where more support across the employee lifecycle can be provided to help retain the LGBTQ+ workforce.
