Position Summary:

The Chief of Staff is a strategic, highly skilled individual responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of key projects and initiatives for the CEO, as well as helping triage interactions with his global network of CEOs and senior leaders.  This role combines both strategic project management and delivery as well as some administrative tasks, requiring an organized, proactive individual who can handle both high-level responsibilities and personal support tasks.  

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Support 
    • Serve as the project manager for special projects for the CEO, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion with the Out Leadership team.
    • Serve as a key point of contact and gatekeeper to the CEO with both the Out Leadership team as well as the outside world, helping triage and prioritize requests.
  1. Administrative Management
    • Maintain all aspects of the CEO’s calendar,  including coordinating with all stakeholders to schedule internal and external meetings, and anticipating requirements for the meetings, which include, but aren’t limited to presentation needs, agendas, locations. 
    • Prepare for and attend key meetings alongside the CEO, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
    • Handle email and correspondence, draft responses, and filter information to and from the CEO. Prioritize inquiries and make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
    • Manage and track CEO’s professional and personal contact network. 
    • Handle all aspects of domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, ground transportation, accommodations.  
  1. Personal Assistant Responsibilities
    • Coordinate personal travel, accommodations, and itineraries,  ensuring a seamless integration between professional and personal schedules.
    • Assist with/ manage external contractor support for occasional personal tasks, including appointments, personal errands, home and pet care. 
    • Maintain confidentiality and ensure personal matters are handled with discretion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience working in a corporate role, ideally with experience in a Chief of Staff or related role
  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, tact, and professionalism.
  • Problem-solver with a proactive approach.
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to handle both strategic projects and personal tasks efficiently.
  • Strong technology skills including Google for Business skills (G-Mail, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.), ideally with an understanding of AI/key project management software. 

LOCATION

This position will be based in Out Leadership’s global headquarters in New York City.

COMPENSATION

Out Leadership offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, including a competitive benefits package with paid time off, 401(k) with a 4% employer match. Salary range: $100,000-115,000.
