NCAA to consider LGBT laws when selecting tournament locations

The NCAA has announced that it will consider  state and local LGBT laws when selecting host cities for collegiate sports tournaments and championships.  

Citing time constraints, the organization will not move next April’s Men’s Basketball Final Four from Houston, where a nondiscrimination measure was voted down earlier this month.  NCAA officials have stated, however, that they will “continue to review current events in all cities bidding on NCAA championships and events, as well as cities that have already been named as future host sites.”
