Wells Fargo will expand its LGBT+ leadership training program from two to three classes this year. The program will reach an additional 36 employees, as Wells Fargo continues to develop its LGBT+ leaders.
Employees are selected based on the bank’s self-ID program; Wells Fargo aims to enroll top performers in each class.
The Diverse Leaders Program was started in 2004 to build Well’s Fargo’s bench of diverse talent. In addition to LGBT+ classes, the Diverse Leaders Program includes classes that target African Americans, Asian and Pacific Islanders, and Latinos. It will soon add classes for veterans and people with disabilities.
