Out Leadership and its global communications partner FTI Consulting were jointly honored with a Gold Asia Pacific SABRE award for the public relations campaign we executed together around the Out on the Street: Asia 2014 LGBT Summit, hosted by HSBC.
Our campaign addressed social stigma related to LGBT in Asia through a targeted traditional and digital media campaign, and was tied to last December’s Summit. Our ultimate objective was to drive further perception change about the business opportunity LGBT equality presents amongst business leaders in Asia, and around the world. Traditional and digital coverage increased 400% versus the prior year and helped highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, a key public policy issue in Asia.
Previously, the partnership of Out Leadership and FTI Consulting won a 2014 Big Apple Award for strategic communications for The Power of Out: Harnessing the World’s Leading Banks to Create a More Inclusive Wall Street.
