4 in 10 LGBT+ workers report feeling bullied at work

Four out of 10 LGBT+ workers said they feel bullied at work in response to a Harris Poll study published by Careerbuilder, released on GLAAD’s Spirit Day – about 11 percent more than all workers do.

The majority of those bullied said it was by one person, while 13% said the bullying occurred in a group setting.

Additionally, another 40% said they were picked on for their personal attributes such as appearance or gender and 47% said they were gossiped about. Other complaints included being falsely accused of mistakes or judged on different standards than other workers.
