When Inga Beale started her career in 1982, women had only been allowed on the underwriting floor at Lloyd’s of London for ten years – and were still mandated to wear skirts.

Today, she’s been in the top job there for 3 years, where she’s done everything from introducing a reverse-mentoring system, to (controversially) banning staff from drinking during the day.
