New York, NY – September 2, 2015 – Todd Sears, founder and CEO of Out Leadership, today announced that Stephanie Sandberg is joining Out Leadership as Managing Director, Advisory & Client Services.
Sandberg is a highly experienced media executive and marketing consultant whose work has included publishing, business consulting, and private equity. She was President and Publisher of The New Republic, where she was among the first in the industry to pivot her business to an online-driven customer model; served as chair of IMAG/The Independent Magazine Group, where she was named a Folio: 40 Industry Leader; helped launch Food Network Magazine, for Hearst, ran sales and marketing for PlanetOut/gay.com and served as Executive Publisher of Columbia Journalism Review.
As CMO for operations consulting experts SSA & Co., the G100 and High Lantern Group – a global efficiency consulting group, a CEO membership organization and a thought leader communications firm – she dealt with operational and communications issues at all levels of corporate engagement. Most recently she helped launch private equity firm Rosemark Capital, where she also oversaw research for a book on entrepreneurs.
