Salesforce redoubles its efforts to push for LGBT+ Rights

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said the company will increase its efforts to fight state laws that are discriminatory to LGBT+ employees, and hire a Chief of Diversity.

Salesforce has championed efforts to build equality for LGBT+ people, as well as for women and people of color, both internally and externally. Salesforce recently spent $3 million to combat gender pay disparity internally, lobbied against North Carolina’s HB2 bill, and helped convince Georgia Governor Nathan Deal to not sign an LGBT+ discriminatory bill.
