Logo releases list of Top 25 Trailblazing Companies

Logo has released a list of companies that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to LGBT people and issues in advertising and public communications.  Coming as the network celebrates its 10th anniversary, The Logo Top 25 Trailblazing Companies list highlights firms that have gone above and beyond to engage the LGBT community.

“It’s one thing to craft an HR manual that says all the right things,” said Todd Sears, Founder & Principal of Out Leadership. “It’s quite another for a company to live its inclusive values every day – bravely stepping forward and identifying LGBT customers as important and equal members of their communities. We applaud these companies for their leadership, and for demonstrating that including LGBT people is not just the right thing to do, but also the smart business play. LGBT-inclusive branding pays exponential dividends, because as we’re increasingly seeing in our global work, our friends, families and allies are paying close attention, too.”

Logo created the list in partnership with Witeck Communications.  Companies were judged on seven criteria related to the LGBT community: inclusive advertising, digital video and social media strategy, policy support, spokespersons and C-suite executives, donations and scholarships, website engagement, and marriage equality support.

Of the more than 200 companies studied, two Out Leadership member firms received top marks, with Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase both being recognized for their public commitment to LGBT employees and customers.
