Bloomberg and Linklaters support Hong Kong’s LGBT+ Festival, Pink Dot

Bloomberg and Linklaters will be platinum sponsors of Hong Kong’s Pink Dot Festival for 2017, the firms have announced. They join Conchita Wurst, the Austrian winner of Eurovision 2014, who will serve as the festival’s international ambassador.

Pink Dot Hong Kong was created after the success of its sister festival in Singapore. Pink Dot Singapore recently drew negative attention from the Singaporean government, which has prohibited foreign companies from funding events in Speaker’s Corner, where the event has been held for years.

Both festivals have grown considerably since Pink Dot Singapore began in 2009. Pink Dot Hong Kong expects its biggest crowd to date.
