Barclays, Citi, Clifford Chance, and Goldman Sachs shortlisted for British LGBT Employer of the Year Award

A number of Out Leadership member companies have been shortlisted for the 2016 British LGBT Awards – a recognition of their commitment to creating open and inclusive workplaces.

Barclays, Citi, Clifford Chance, and Goldman Sachs are all contenders for Employer of the Year.  In the past year Barclays has served as the host and sponsor for our OutNEXT Global Summit in New York, and Clifford Chance co-hosted the Out Leadership 2015 Europe Summit in London.  Last year, Out Leadership also helped Clifford Chance launch their employee Ally program.

Angela Eagle, the Shadow First Secretary of State and Shadow Business Secretary, is serving on the judging committee for the awards.  In a statement Eagle, an openly gay woman, told the International Business Times that “those shortlisted have demonstrated a track record of promoting equality and diversity in the workplace. I congratulate all those on the shortlist and look forward to meeting the winners.”
