Robert Geller, the founder and CEO of FabStayz.com, identified a gap in Airbnb’s offering – not all hosts are happy to invite LGBT+ families or couples into their spaces. His new site seeks to solve the ‘coming out’ conundrum for LGBT+ travelers when booking accommodations across major short-term rental platforms.
His platform’s “FabHosts” are all certified LGBT+ Ally hosts, fostering safe, welcoming spaces for all.
“Coming out to stranger is no way to kick-off a vacation,” said Geller.
FabStayz has its sights set on Airbnb’s 7M active listings in over 100,000 cities and is looking to gain a 3 percent foothold within its first 18 months, which would make it the world’s largest LGBT+ accommodations platform.
