Coca-Cola runs pro-LGBT+ ads in Hungary, stands firm against criticism

The Coca Cola Company, an Out Leadership member company, has come under criticism from Hungarian politicians, including members of the ruling Fidesz party, for launching its “Love is Love” campaign, which features same-sex couples kissing.

The company refused to pull the ads and issued a statement:  “The Coca-Cola Company strives for diversity, inclusion and equality in our business, and we support these rights in society as well. As a long-standing supporter of the LGBTQI community, we believe everyone has the right to love the person they choose. The campaign currently running in Hungary reflects these values.”
