Professor M.V. Lee Badgett who just authored “The Economic Case for LGBT Equality” will discuss her book and the economic and business case for LGBTQ equality. Badgett, is a professor of economics and the former director of the School of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Fabrice Houdart, Director for Equality Initiatives at Out Leadership will ask her about her efforts over the past two decades to highlight how equality is good for businesses, communities, and economies. He will also interview her on the particular burden on homophobia and transphobia on the livelihoods of African-Americans LGBTQ people in the US.
