The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration released the first federal report on the scientific and medical research behind Conversion Therapy. “Ending Conversion Therapy: Supporting and Affirming LGBTQ Youth” demonstrates an expert consensus finding conversion therapy to be harmful, provides examples of alternative therapeutic approaches.
