Thomson Reuters, an Out Leadership member company, has launched a new Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Index, which ranks the top 100 publicly traded companies with the most diverse & inclusive workforces. Out Leadership congratulates member companies Microsoft, Citigroup, and Thomson Reuters for being among the initial companies recognized.
The index is based on metrics of each company’s inclusion, diversity, people development and controversies, and is supplemented by environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data.
Thomson Reuters says that it hopes that financial institutions and investors will look to the D&I Index to gain insight into long-term opportunities and potential risks, and to incentivize companies to take steps to become more diverse.
